About the Role:

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will support Clarion Medical Technologies' financial and business needs, including month-end closing activities, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, reporting to the Controller.

This is a permanent full-time hybrid role with 40 hours work week.


The successful applicant will:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including supporting schedules and journal entries.
  • Provide financial and business analysis, reporting, and dashboards to the Controller, COO, and various business units.
  • Manage various customer programs including rebate and accrual calculations.
  • Support various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, and implementing operational and financial improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of Clarion annual budget and forecasting.
  • Participate actively in the annual financial statement audit, prepare working papers and analyze areas of responsibility.
  • Support and lead changes in ERP (Great Plains) and CRM (HubSpot).
  • Lead various new initiatives and projects as assigned.

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the related field.
  • CPA designation is required.
  • Understanding of IFRS.
  • Experience in journal entries, account reconciliation, sales/costs/gross margin analysis, budgeting, and annual audits.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and deadlines.
  • A self-starter, highly motivated, and a good team player who works collaboratively and effectively as a team member.
