About the Role:

Reporting to the President, the VP of Operations and Services will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day company operations and services, including strategy, structure, processes, and controls. This role will ensure the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective processes to meet the current and future needs of the organization. You will work closely with your experienced team to ensure that customer expectations are met through strong customer service and technical support for their Clarion capital equipment and purchases. This position reports to and works closely with the President and other colleagues to achieve Clarion’s mission by upholding our values.

The successful applicant will:

  • Participate as a member of the Executive Leadership team and work with colleagues in setting the strategic direction of the company.
  • Collaborate, develop, and guide the operational execution of department strategic initiatives and objectives.
  • Ensure team and company activities integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
  • Ensure competency and coverage of department is sufficient in meeting financial and non-financial performance requirements and KPIs.
  • Ensure teams are working closely together to ensure alignment in process, working efficiently, while ensuring reliable and consistent execution.
  • Working with the Sr. Director of Service providing Clarion’s customers with the highest quality of technical service response delivered with technical expertise and honesty.
  • Working with the Director of Customer Service providing Clarion’s Customers with the highest quality of customer service.
  • Working with Director of Operations and parent company to ensure Clarion’s distribution warehouse and facility needs are maintained and sufficient to meet volume needs globally.
  • Building vendor relationships to ensure their quality metrics are met, and to work through vendor issues such as backorders.
  • Working with the General Manager of the Luvo entity ensuring capacity in manufacturing facility to meet growth expectations.
  • Grow the Service department contract and billable revenue and profitability while managing costs.
  • Create and make recommendations of new and improved policies, controls and processes.
  • Coach, mentor, train, support and conduct performance reviews of staff.

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications would be an asset.
  • Has a minimum of 15 years’ experience in an Operational and Service role with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience working with Sr. Executives, Sales, Marketing, Finance in a business support capacity.
  • A high degree of customer service orientation: you care about building authentic and long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and interpret business needs into operational and customer service practices.
  • Hands on approach with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at various levels within the organization and customers.
  • Demonstrated financial and non-financial management skills including management of revenue, full profit and loss statements, and KPIs.
  • Experience working in a small to mid-size organization.
  • Work experience within the medical industry and a service organization desirable.
