About the Role:

Reporting to the Medical Marketing Manager, the Medical Marketing Associate supports Clarion Medical Technologies’ vision by managing marketing initiatives for the existing product portfolio as well as assisting in the launch and integration of new products. This position works closely with the Medical Marketing Director and Sales Director to develop and implement strategies to support B2B sales for our products as well as B2C sales for our customers through development of practice management strategies, initiatives and collateral. The associate liaises with suppliers to adopt products into the portfolio; and works closely with the Marketing Director and Division Sales Director to gain insight into the business and clinical aspects of the assigned market to develop strategic marketing programs that support the financial objectives of the company.


The successful applicant will:

  • Implement marketing strategies to support B2B sales for Clarion products through development of communication pieces, practice management tools, initiatives and collateral
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to understand the business and clinical aspects of the market to track strategic marketing programs that support financial objectives
  • Provide executive summary reports, competitive analysis and ROI for all projects
  • Conduct ongoing customer, market and competitive analysis; communicate with and gather market intelligence from Sales team and Sales Managers/Directors to develop reports and comparison matrices
  • Develop and maintain all collateral for the portfolio, both adapted from suppliers and new items as needed for the Canadian market, based on mutually agreed upon timelines
  • Manage product collateral portfolio, through SharePoint and customer portal
  • Develop expert knowledge of products in the assigned portfolio, serve as information resource to sales and internal teams
  • Liaise with suppliers to gather marketing collateral; monitor supplier portals for product and sales tools
  • Assist with product launch process; assist with go-to-market plan for new products
  • Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability
  • Maintain a strong online company voice through social media

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Marketing
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Superior organizational ability with extreme attention to detail
  • Demonstrated creativity, situation analysis/problem solving skills and analytical skills
  • Strong technical skills; Microsoft office with advanced excel and numerical analysis
  • Adobe experience
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – ability to build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bilingual would be an asset but not a requirement
